C Bechstein | 1911 | 6’7” | High Polish Ebony | $29,900.00

This C. Bechstein bearing the serial number 102657 was built in Berlin, Germany.  At the time of this manufacturing the sons of Carl Bechstein were still in charge.  This is important because it could be said that this is a real Bechstein built by the Bechstein’s themselves.

This grand measures at 6’ 7” and was refurbished by Steffes and Schultz of Eisenberg, Germany.  They replaced all the necessary action parts, new strings, new felts throughout with new hammers, shanks and flanges. The plate has been refinished and all hardware has been restored or replaced.  This piano looks and feels like new.

Steffes and Schulz GmbH of Weisbaden Germany are responsible for the refurbishments of this piano. Mr. Steffes is the former owner of Wilhelm Steinberg Piano Company in Eisenberg, Germany.  Mr. Schulz is a fifth generation piano designer, technician and entrepreneur. Mr. Schulz family stretches back to the mid 1800s in the piano industry.

For over 40 years R. Kassman Piano has represented the finest European Pianos on the planet. Today the philosophy of selling pianos has remained the same: Find the right piano for the customer and offer the lowest price possible for the best instrument possible.
