Every piano whether an upright or grand may need a caster cups under the wheels (casters) of the piano.  This is especially important if your piano is sitting on hardwoods or tile floors. 

Be sure to choose the right caster for your piano.  In some cases a grand piano caster will be a little wider than an upright and you should check to be sure the caster cups you have chosen will fit the caster on your piano properly.
