The Ritmuller GH148R is possibly the best baby grand piano on the market today in this price range. Ritmuller has become a favorite among many teachers in the San Francisco Bay area because it is affordable yet, has the characteristics of a European piano. The touch and tone make you feel as if you are playing a piano that is twice the price.
Ritmullers use of ebony sharps is unheard of in piano manufacturing but necessary if you are claiming to have any scale design that is similar to German construction. The whole design of the piano is obviously well thought out and the construction is unmatched especially for the price.
To top it all off they also make this model available in a satin finish which is unheard of.
