The UH series take the Ritmuller line to an entirely different category. It is a much more refined sound and feel than that of its close sibling, the UP series. While the UP series is a little more affordable, the UH series has a slight increase in price but offers much more than the price difference.
The UP series certainly is more than adequate for the average beginner or student the UH series was definitely designed with the more accomplished pianist in mind. They upgraded the strings, hammers and soundboard.
In the UHX121 lines they have also added a sound escapement design on the front panel so you are able to hear the piano a little better. This is a perfect upgrade to the person who would like the sound of a grand piano but doesn't have room.
