This scale design was introduced in 1905.  This model is the smallest in size that Steingraeber produces but has received the most "Best in its class" awards and his highly regarded among technicians and professionals globally. The exclusive bass bridge design for this model makes the sound robust compared to thin and bright like some in the same size.

Past the sound of the instrument is the way it sounds.  Of all the pianos that are available Oslo Opera House chose this model because of its size and boisterous tone.  You will not be disappointed if you are looking for a 5'7" piano.
